Let me introduce myself, I am an Everquest ranger who has been about for a while. I wish to share my knowledge, ideas and thoughts with you as I travel through the land of Norrath within the online PC game Everquest.

The first place to visit would be the

'Game Guides' section, as you will find levelling and guides on how to play. This site isn't just for rangers, it has some useful general game information in it as well - so have a look around!

22/05/10 - There are rumours of the new expansion coming out later in the year called 'House of Thule'! Apparently the level cap will raise to 90.

06/06/10 - DPS mercenaries are set to join Everquest on the 9th June, which gives you the option of hiring a caster or melee damage mercenary. I wonder how this will affect ranger pick up grouping opportunities - we will have to see. Later on this month a number of server merges will also occur as detailed in this post.

New hot zones are going to be put in place on June 9th, including Natimbi for level 45 (get fearkiting those cragwalkers, reef crustaceans and hynids) and Loping Plains/Old Blackburrow for level 75. A list of all the zones can be found here which also gives further information about the DPS mercenaries.

06/07/10 - A bit of old Everquest trivia for you. Did you know in the SW corner of Timorous deep there is an underwater teleportation room (with portals that look like firepots) that take you to the main cities of Antonica, Faydwer, Odus and Kunark? If you want to have a look you can find it detailed as number 13 on this map.  There is a rare possibility that Faydedar, a dragon, may roam into this room, so you may want to travel there with caution.
